2024 Nehiyawatiswin Conference

Heather Kiskihkoman (she/her) is nehiyaw & anishinaabe from nipisihkopahk, maskwacîs, in treaty 6 territory. Osawayisis is her online business. Her unique style of beadwork blends both her fine art education with traditional beadwork styles that depict the natural world. Most of her work uses the same natural materials that her ancestors would have used such as, traditionally tanned animal hides, porcupine quills, caribou & moose hair tufts as well as modern materials like beads and fabric.  

You will learn to bead earrings & all beading supplies will be provided.
